Russian Food Truck Tweets At Mueller-Themed Ice Cream Truck In DC

An amusing social media interaction between two D.C. food trucks shows just how ridiculous the political landscape is today.

WASHINGTON, DC -- Politics is weird in D.C. these days. So weird that a D.C. food truck that serves Russian fare is tweeting at a Robert Mueller-themed ice cream truck.

Yes, really.

The Washingtonian reports that the Mueller truck is called "Guilty Pleasures" (the logo is stylized so that "Guilty Pleas" stands out). It bills itself as "Washington D.C.'s first investigations-themed ice cream truck" -- a crown it is likely to keep for as long as it wants.

It's not just a joke, as progressive activist organization Move On reportedly is behind the truck.

And now, Bel-Feast -- a food truck that calls itself "food with a Russian accent" -- is tweeting at the Mueller truck.

The Mueller truck is absolutely loaded with puns. The Washingtonian notes that you can get flavors like Fudge the Truth and IndictMint Chip, and the ice cream can be served either in a cup or "Cohen."
