SEE: Sean Spicer Dressed As The White House Easter Bunny
Politico interviewed Spicer in 2008 about his uncomfortably hot gig as the silent Easter Bunny on the White House lawn.

WASHINGTON, DC — Today, Sean Spicer is known for waging war with the media on a daily basis and being impersonated by Melissa McCarthy on "Saturday Night Live," but years ago he was silently greeting children in a sweaty Easter Bunny costume on the White House lawn next to President George W. Bush.
Spicer, who was working in the U.S. trade representatives office at the time, donned the eggs-cellent costume for the annual White House Easter Egg Roll in 2007 and 2008. In photos, he can be seen standing awkwardly next to the president and First Lady Laura Bush, silently suffering inside the miserably hot suit. He was even interviewed by Politico about his exciting gig.
"It gets very hot," Spicer said about the experience, noting that kids loved meeting him, and he spent most of his time taking pictures with them.

Spicer might be known for his talking now, but that was something he generally wasn't able to do as the Easter Bunny. He added that he was pretty much blind as well.

Spicer also had some interesting ideas on how to educate kids about U.S. trade if he could use his bunny suit as a prop.
"I kept telling the kids that 'eggs-ports' help grow the economy and create jobs," he said in the interview. "All of the stuff kids got in their Easter baskets from Colombia entered the U.S. almost entirely duty-free, but when the Easter Bunny brought stuff made in the U.S. to kids in Colombia, he had to pay stiff tariffs — Congress should pass the Colombia trade agreement and end one-way trade."
