Second Gentleman Taken From D.C. School Over 'Security Issue'
Second gentleman Doug Emhoff was removed from the stage while giving a presentation at Dunbar High School, according to reports.

WASHINGTON, DC — Second gentleman Doug Emhoff, the husband of Vice President Kamala Harris, was removed from a Washington, D.C. high school during a presentation due to a reported bomb threat, according to multiple reports including The Associated Press.
Emhoff was speaking at Dunbar High School on Tuesday for an event commemorating Black History Month. He was in the school's museum for about five minutes before a member of his security detail approached him saying, "we have to go." Emhoff was taken from the building into his waiting motorcade.
Students and teachers were then instructed to evacuate the building, The AP reported.

While initially reported as a "security issue," District of Columbia Public Schools spokesman Enrique Gutierrez told The AP there was a bomb threat. It was unknown whether the threat was related to Emhoff's visit or the Black History Month event.
The Secret Service did not immediately respond to The Associated Press' request for comment.
