Sexual Abuse Suspect Sought In Mount Pleasant Incident: Police
D.C. Police are asking the public's help in locating a suspect in connection with a Sunday morning sexual assault in Mount Pleasant.
WASHINGTON, DC — Metropolitan Police Department detectives from the Sexual Assault Unit are asking the public's help in identifying and finding a suspect in connection with a sexual abuse offense that took place early Sunday morning in the Mount Pleasant area, according to a police release.
Police say the suspect approached the victim around 3:43 a.m., in the 1400 block of Perry Place, N.W. The suspect engaged in an unwanted sexual act with the victim and then fled the scene.
Police describe the suspect as possibly being an Hispanic male around 4o, standing 5-foot-1, with black hair.
