Sexual Assault Charge Filed, Victim Met Man Via App: DC Police
DC Police arrested a Southeast man and charged him with sexually assaulting a woman he met on a social media application.
WASHINGTON, DC — Metropolitan Police Department detectives arrested a Southeast man in connection with a sexual assault that occurred Sunday near Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, according to a police release.
On Sunday, Feb. 23, around 2:30 p.m., the suspect and the female victim met through a social media application. The suspect forcibly took the victim to the 300 block of Parkland Place, Southeast, where he sexually assaulted her and then fled the scene.
D.C. Police arrested Deaundre Johnson, 18, of Southeast, and charged him with third-degree sexual abuse and aggravated assault.
