Shocking Racist Incident At Capitol Hill Pool Stuns Community

A man with swastika tattoos who was asked to leave this weekend reportedly became violent and called the lifeguard a racial slur.

WASHINGTON, DC — As white supremacists battled Charlottesville locals over the weekend, another disturbing racial incident reportedly happened at a pool on Capitol Hill near Eastern Market.

DCist reports that on Sunday at William H. Rumsey Aquatic Center, located at 635 North Carolina Avenue SE, a man with a swastika tattoo on his abdomen entered the pool and called the lifeguard a racial slur, "and a brawl ensued."

"The other swimmers I spoke to said there was blood and they broke the glass at the lifeguard stand," said one reader quoted by DCist. "I saw the white supremacist with the swastika tattoo sitting on the sidewalk in front of the pool being interviewed by three DC police with my own eyes."
