Skeletal Remains Discovered In DC Neighborhood: Report
Authorities reportedly found the remains of three bodies, one in a crawl space and the others in the back woods.

WASHINGTON, DC -- Police have made an unnerving discovery in a Southeast D.C. neighborhood: the skeletal remains belonging to two females, and a third set discovered in a crawl space of an apartment building, according to a report.
The Washington Post reports that the remains were found at in the area of an apartment complex at Wayne Place and Mississippi Avenue in Congress Heights. Police have roped off the scene and investigators are searching for clues on their identities.
Construction workers first discovered the remains last week while renovating a ground-floor apartment. They found a skull in a basement crawl space, and police later found the rest of the remains. Police also discovered two more sets of skeletal remains in the back woods, according to the report.

The medical examiner will ensure the skeletons will be properly recovered, and then will go about making an evaluation to determine details like age, race, gender, and cause of death.
