South Lakes Students To Help Rotary Pack 10,000 Meals: Report

Students from South Lakes High School will be packing 10,000 meals as part of a Rotary Club Foundation volunteer effort.

Students from South Lakes High School are planning to help the Reston Rotary Foundation, the fundraising and grants arm of the Rotary Club of Reston, to pack 10,000 meals on Saturday, Jan. 11., according to a report. The meals will be handed out to schools located in poverty-stricken regions around the world.

The Rotary Club of Reston is soliciting donations of $1, $2, $5 or more to support the event, which is being conducted through Anython and in partnership with Rise Against Hunger, reported RestonNow. Volunteers are also needed for the January event.
