Southeast Woman Killed In Fairlawn Shooting: Police Report
D.C. homicide detectives are investigating the fatal shooting of a Southeast woman early Wednesday morning in the Fairlawn area.
WASHINGTON, DC — Metropolitan Police Department homicide detectives are investigating the fatal shooting of a Southeast woman early Wednesday morning in the Fairlawn area, according to a police release.
On Wednesday, around 3:17 a.m., officers from the Sixth District responded to the report of gunshots in the 1600 block of 19th Street, S.E. Arriving on the scene, officers found an unconscious adult woman inside a vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound. D.C. Fire and EMS took the victim to a nearby hospital, but all life-saving efforts failed and she was pronounced dead.
Police identified the decedent as Kriston Robinson, 28, of Southeast.
