Southwest Man Charged In Sex Trafficking Of Children: Police

D.C. Police arrested a Southwest man Wednesday in connection with suspected sex trafficking of children.

WASHINGTON, DC — The Metropolitan Police Department detectives from the Youth and Family Services Division – Internet Crimes Against Children Branch arrested a suspect in connection with a sex trafficking of children offense that took place Wednesday, according to a police release.

Police say the suspect traveled around 6:35 p.m., to D.C., to take part in a commercial sex act with a person the suspect knew was a child. Officers apprehended the suspect without incident.

MPD arrested Javonte McMillian, 25, of Southeast, and charged him with sex trafficking of children.
