Spring Into Art

How better to welcome Spring time than with doing something fun and creative by taking an art class with acclaimed artist Vian Borchert.

Winter has been long. Yet, slowly and surely Spring is waking up. The tulip buds in my front yard are showing off their green leafy leaves, and the yellow daffodils adorn the earth with their pleasant appearance here and there and almost everywhere. You can hear the birds singing gleefully at the crack of dawn while the sun warmly shines its rays on another day. The Cherry Blossom trees with their blooming pink flowers make an appearance amongst the remnant of barren winter trees. Spring is definitely in the air in the DC/DMV area, and with every new Spring we see the renewal and rebirth of nature’s beauty. For me as an artist I aim every Spring to take in the beauty of the wonderful nature I am surrounded by. The Cherry Blossom trees for me don’t only look visually pleasing but they are a definite source of inspiration. I encourage all who love the arts, and want to partake in it to immerse themselves in an artistic and creative experience this upcoming Spring by taking an art class.
In my professional opinion most avid art lovers who want to be creative should first try their hand in beginning classes where they will learn the basics of drawing and painting. For this Spring, I offer three morning art classes at the Yellow Barn Studio in the historic Glen Echo Park, Glen Echo, Maryland.
Classes start after Spring break.
People have already started to register, and some classes are almost full. So, to guarantee yourself a spot in one of my classes, don’t delay the enrollment.

The classes are:

“Beginning Drawing” on Friday morning from 9:30AM-12PM starting on April 26 till June 7.
