Stabbing In Buckingham Area Under Investigation: Police Report

ARLINGTON, VA — Arlington County Police are investigating a stabbing that took place early Sunday morning in the Buckingham area, according to the daily crime report.

Around 2:20 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 200 block of N. Glebe Road for the report of a stabbing. Finding the victim suffering from a laceration, they provided emergency medical assistance until medics arrived. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Following a preliminary investigation, police determined the victim had left a restaurant and was walking in the area when two suspects approached him from behind. They produced a knife and stabbed him, before fleeing the scene on foot.

This investigation is ongoing.
