Silver Spring Man Dies From Stab Wound He Received Early Monday In The Shaw Neighborhood
D.C. homicide detectives are investigating the fatal stabbing of Kenneth Thomas Jr. of Silver Spring, Maryland on Monday in the Shaw area.
WASHINGTON, DC — A 45-year-old Maryland man died from a stab wound he received early Monday morning in the Shaw-Howard University neighborhood, according to a police release.
Kenneth Thomas Jr. of Silver Spring, Maryland was found by police suffering from an apparent stab wound around 1:03 a.m., in the 1900 block of 9th Street, Northwest. Police had been called to the area for the report of a stabbing.
Thomas was taken to the hospital for treatment, but he later died from his injuries.

MPD is currently offering a reward of up to $25,000 for anyone who supplies information that leads to the arrest and conviction of any person responsible for a homicide in the District.
