Arrest Made In Child Sex Abuse Incident In Northwest DC
DC police detectives arrested a suspect in a child sex abuse and enticing a minor case that took place Tuesday in Northwest.
WASHINGTON, DC -- Metropolitan Police Department detectives from the Youth and Family Services Division, Physical and Sexual Abuse Branch arrested a suspect in connection with a child sex offense that took place Tuesday in Northwest, according to a police report.
On Jan. 21, at about 4:15 p.m., the suspect approached and inappropriately touched a juvenile female in the 4800 Block of Nebraska Avenue, N.W. The victim fled the scene.
On Wednesday, Jan. 22, police arrested Amara Traore, 38, of Northwest D.C. and charged him with Second Degree Child Sex Abuse and Enticing a Minor.
