Suspect Sought In Sunday Shooting On H Street: Video

Metropolitan Police Department detectives are asking the public to help identify a suspect in an early morning shooting on H Street.

WASHINGTON, DC -- Metropolitan Police Department detectives from the First District are asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect and vehicle in connection with a shooting that took place Sunday morning in the H Street Corridor, according to a police release.

Officers responded on Jan. 19, at about 4:30 a.m., to the 1300 block of H Street, N.E., to the report of a shooting. Arriving on the scene, officers found a victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was taken to a local hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Police also shared photos of the suspect and a vehicle of interest.

Police are continuing to investigate the incident, which is being investigated as an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) offense. Anyone with information about the suspect or the incident is asked to call 202-727-9099 or text a tip to 50411.
