'Suspicious Crash' Leads To Road Closures On Capitol Hill
BREAKING: Police are investigating a "suspicious crash" that left one officer injured on Capitol Hill Monday afternoon.

WASHINGTON, DC — A U.S. Capitol Police Officer was taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after a suspicious vehicle crash on Capitol Hill Monday afternoon, according to reports.
The car crashed into a barrier near the Library of Congress and U.S. Capitol Building. The driver was also brought to a hospital with minor injuries, police said.
The incident resulted in the following road closures: Independence Avenue SE between Washington Avenue and Third Street; Second Street SE between East Capitol Street and C Street; Pennsylvania Avenue SE between Third Street and Second Street. Drivers are warned to stay clear of the area.
