AT&T Brings Faster Network to D.C. Customers

4G LTE Expansion Will Give Customers Better Access to Mobile Internet

AT&T has added a new cell tower to its 4G LTE network in the District to give customers faster, more reliable wireless service.

The change will help customers near Pennsylvania Avenue and 29th Street NW get the most out of their mobile devices. With 4G LTE service, they’ll see better service when watching videos, posting to social media or texting family and friends.

“We want our customers to have a great experience. They’ll be able to download, upload, stream and play games faster than ever before on our 4G LTE network,” said Denis Dunn, president of AT&T Washington, D.C. “We’re always working to provide better coverage. And, we’re investing in our wireless network to accomplish that.”
