Temperatures Suddenly Plunge In DC Area: Report
A cold front has sent temperatures diving in just a matter of minutes.

WASHINGTON, DC -- Temperatures have taken a sudden and extraordinary turn over the course of just a few minutes in the D.C. area on Friday afternoon.
The Washington Post's Capital Weather Gang has reported that there was a sudden drop of 5 to 10 degrees in just 10 to 15 minutes, diving from the mid 60s into the 50s, with wind gusts near 30 miles per hour.
CWG posted a startling graph showing the sudden shift, which was caused by a cold front that is sweeping into the D.C. area. That cold front could result in some snowfall tomorrow, just two days after temperatures soared into the 70s in our region.
