WASHINGTON, DC — Top Chef star and Petworth native Brian Hill is opening his new restaurant, Comfort Kitchen, in downtown DC in a few weeks.
Patrons can expect a small menu consisting of unique spins on classic bar food like the signature golden fried chicken sliders, hand-rolled homemade turkey meatballs and slow roasted shredded beef BBQ sliders.
According to Eater DC, the restaurant will also hold boozy brunch from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Hill said he is planning creative cocktails such as sparkling wine spiked with roasted cherries.
