Trader Joe's Opening Store On Capitol Hill: Report
The grocer is opening up a store on Pennsylvania Avenue later this month.

WASHINGTON, DC — Good news, Trader Joe's fans on Capitol Hill: you'll be getting a new store to call your own soon.
The grocer is moving into a space at 750 Pennsylvania Ave. SE and will open Sept. 29 with a weekend-long event featuring live music, giveaways, and tastings, according to a Washington Business Journal report.
The location will span 13,000 square feet and have an underground parking lot. It will be the first Trader Joe's in D.C. that is not in the Northwest quadrant. All of its 14 current locations in the D.C. area are either in Northwest, Northern Virginia or Montgomery County, Md.
