Train Crash In DC, 1 Taken To Hospital: Police
Two Amtrak train engines collided in a rail yard in Northeast shortly after midnight.

WASHINGTON, DC — Two Amtrak trains have collided in a rail yard in Northeast D.C., resulting in one person being taken to the hospital.
D.C. Fire and EMS tweeted shortly after midnight that there had been a "train incident" at the Amtrak rail yard off 9th Street NE where two train engines had collided in a "low impact contact."
One person had minor injuries and was transported to the hospital. Neither train derailed.

Police deferred all further queries to Amtrak.
Amtrak has not publicly commented on the incident as of Thursday morning.
