Anti-Trump Protesters Shut Down I-395 in DC Briefly [VIDEO]
Lanes have been reopened, but protesters caused significant traffic problems on I-395.

WASHINGTON, DC — Multiple anti-Trump protesters blocked Interstate 395 in Washington, D.C., Monday afternoon, according to a tweet from the Metropolitan Police Department and other reports on social media.
Police followed up with a tweet at 1:41 p.m. indicating that all lanes were now open but protesters were still on the scene, slowing traffic. Police advise commuters to use alternate routes. The protesters were located near Exit 4 on northbound I-395.
A video posted to Twitter shows protesters unfurling a large banner reading "Stop Trumpism" across all lanes of traffic, chanting slogans as drivers blared their horns and more protesters watched from a bridge above.

There have been several recent protests in D.C. following Donald Trump's upset win over Hillary Clinton on Nov. 8. Trump has been criticized heavily for comments perceived as being sexist, racist and xenophobic throughout his presidential campaign.
