Uber, Police Car Involved In Violent Crash In DC: Report
Both the Uber driver and the police officer were sent to the hospital after the Monday morning collision.
WASHINGTON, DC — An Uber driver and a police officer collided in a violent crash in D.C. Monday morning, resulting in the hospitalization of both, according to a report.
WJLA reports that the officer rear-ended the Uber on 7th Street NW in the Shaw neighborhood in the early morning hours. The officer reportedly was responding to a call with her lights and siren on at the time.
The crash closed the 1700 block of 7th Street NW in both directions, which has since reopened.
