Unarmed Carjacking In DC: Police (Video)
Police are asking for the public's help in tracking down the perpetrator.

WASHINGTON, DC -- A man managed to carjack someone in broad daylight while unarmed in D.C. recently, and police are seeking the public's help in finding him.
The incident happened in the 2200 block of Bates St. NE on Sept. 22, according to a tweet from D.C. police.
The video posted by police below shows a silver minivan parked on the side of the road and a man aggressively approaching it from the sidewalk. He is then seen talking to a man sitting in the driver's seat. The man eventually gets out of the vehicle, and the suspect gets in.

MPD is seeking assistance in identifying a suspect in reference to an Unarmed Carjacking offense that occurred in the 2200 blk of Bates St., NE, on 9/22/18.
