WASHINGTON, DC — Metropolitan Police Department detectives from the Fifth District are asking the public's help in identifying a vehicle of interest in connection with a shooting incident that took place Wednesday in the Carver/Langston area, according to a release.

At about 4:46 p.m., the suspects approached two victims in the 2100 block of Maryland Avenue, N.E. One of the suspects pointed a handgun and shot the victims, before fleeing the scene in a vehicle. The victims were taken to a nearby hospital where they received treatment for non-life threatening injuries.

A nearby surveillance camera captured video of a vehicle of interest in the case. MPD posted the video on its YouTube channel.
