Vials Of Blood On Metro Car?
A Metro rider made an incredibly disturbing discovery on an Orange Line train recently.
WASHINGTON, DC -- A rider on an Orange Line train toward Landover made an alarming discovery recently, finding what appear to be vials of blood lying on the floor of the car.
Twitter user B Smith tweeted to WMATA that "there appears to be several vials of blood on car #3211 Orange line to Landover," posting a picture of the vials lying on the floor with other trash.
WMATA replied with an apology and a note that it had "shared your tweet with Maintenance."

Some users replied with jokes, while others were concerned at what appeared to be a major lapse in safety.
"Wow!! Paging @OSHA_DOL @NHTSAgov and anyone .... the train should have been stopped and pulled off the line. Who knows what were in those," tweeted Jana Baldwin.
