Video: Fatal Shooting Suspect In Southeast Caught On Camera
D.C. homicide detectives released surveillance video in connection with the March 9 fatal shooting of a Southeast man.
WASHINGTON, DC — Homicide detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department released surveillance footage in connection with a March 9 fatal shooting, according to a police release. Police are asking the public's help in identifying the suspect they believe killed Alkhenala Al-Fatah, 41, of Southeast.
Around 9:53 p.m., officers from the Seventh District responded the 1200 block of Barnaby Terrace, S.E., for the report of an unconscious male. They found Al-Fatah, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. D.C. Fire and EMS determined there were no signs consistent with life and transported Al-Fatah to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
On Monday, MPD released a video of the suspect captured by a nearby surveillance camera. Anyone with information about the identity of the suspect or this case is asked to call 202-727-9099 or text 50411.
