Virtual Meet-And-Greet With Caps' T.J. Oshie Among Dunkin' Prizes

WASHINGTON, DC — Dunkin’ of D.C. has teamed up with the Washington Capitals to hold a sweepstakes contest that will give fans the opportunity to win a virtual meet-and-greet with Caps forward T.J. Oshie.

Through Aug. 15, fans can enter the contest by visiting the Capitals website and sharing their contact information, along with a Dunkin’ Sip and Capitals Pride selfie. However, photo submissions are not required to enter the Sip Me Ups Sweepstakes.

Customers must be 18 or older to enter the contest. They also must live within 76 miles of Capital One Arena in D.C. to enter the contest.

Dunkin' of D.C. and the Capitals will select 10 grand prize winners from the entries in the Sip Me Ups Sweepstakes. The winners will get the chance to join Oshie for the virtual meet-and-greet, along with the opportunity to win autographed Capitals jerseys and pucks, Dunkin’ prize packs and $100 Dunkin’ gift cards.

Earlier this year, Oshie finished his sixth season with the Capitals after coming to the organization in a trade with the St. Louis Blues. Many fans worried that Oshie, a native of the Seattle area, would be selected by the Seattle Kraken in the team's recent expansion draft. But the Capitals protected him from getting picked by the Kraken in the draft.

In the Sip Me Ups Sweepstakes, five runner-up winners also will have the chance to win Dunkin’ prize packs and $50 Dunkin’ gift cards.

In addition to the Sip Me Ups Sweepstakes, each day through Aug. 17 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., Dunkin’ customers can purchase a medium hot or iced latte or cappuccino for $2 and a media hot or iced signature latte for $3.
