Enjoy plenty of beer and bikes, as well as live music from a Grammy Award-winning band.

Looking for something to do this weekend? How about biking and beer?
New Belgium's Tour de Fat is teaming up with D.C.'s "Really Big Bike Weekend" for a one-of-a-kind celebration at Yards Park this Saturday, May 21, according to a statement.
The event follows Bike to Work Day and will be a warmup for the D.C. Bike Ride.

Tour de Fat will feature a costumed bike ride, a car-for-bike swap, a fashion showdown and New Belgium beer. The event is free, and all proceed from beer and merchandise sales go to non-profits in the D.C. area.
There will also be plenty of live music, including Grammy Award-winning Los Amigos Inivisibles, which plays a "futuristic fusion of Venezuelan disco funk party music," the statement says.

"Emblazoned with a red cruiser bicycle, Fat Tire speaks to the inspiration of our company, our founding beers, and our ethos of balance," Matt Kowal, New Belgium Brewing’s Tour de Fat Impresario said in the statement. "And so it was and so it continues to inspire us all, let's celebrate! Whether you ride your bike down or ride one of our mutant bikes around, we will have a bash and raise some cash for bike-orgs that work hard for you all year!"
Last year's event pulled in more than $65,000 for D.C.-area non-profits. This year, funds will go to the Washington Area Bicyclist Association, Black Women Bike DC, Fairfax Advocates for Better Bicycling, Phoenix Bikes and Mid-Atlantic Off-Road Enthusiasts (MORE).
The event runs from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. on May 21. You can find more information here.
