Find out what Redskins game will make history and how to get single-game tickets for the upcoming season.

WASHINGTON, DC — The 2017 NFL season brings a first for the Washington Redskins, the team will host a Thanksgiving Day game. While this year will mark the 10th time the Redskins have played on Thanksgiving, it's the first time in franchise history that Washington has played host on the holiday. The game will kick off at 8:30 p.m. on Nov. 23 at FedExField against the New York Giants.
The Thursday night contest will be the third game played on the holiday, an addition to the regularly scheduled games the Cowboys and Lions host during the afternoon since 2006. That's just one of the takeaways for Washington fans in the league's new schedule for the upcoming season, which was revealed Thursday. Although the NFL's official announcement concerning the lineup of games was made during a special on the NFL Network, some news outlets posted leaked schedules early.
