The Washington Redskins Are the Most Expensive Ticket in the NFL: Report
Football season is coming, and if you plan on seeing the Redskins in person, prepare to pay up.

WASHINGTON, DC — Feel like you paid a lot when you last went to a Washington Redskins game? As it turns out, you're not wrong -- a new report claims that a Redskins game is the most expensive game to attend in the entire National Football League.
That honor comes not just because the tickets to a 'Skins game are expensive, but because the whole experience will put holes in your pockets, including having to pay for beer, food, parking and everything else that comes with making the trip to FedEx Field, according to a set of rankings from GoBankingRates.com. The site determined the rankings by surveying five costs of attending a football game at each of the 31 NFL stadiums: the average ticket price for the cheapest season ticket options, as well as the cost of parking, beer, soft drinks and hot dogs.
The Redskins topped the list at an astonishing $272.17 per game at FedEx Field for two tickets, two hot dogs, two beers and one parking spot. That breaks down to $87.33 per ticket, $9 for a beer, $5 for a soft drink, $6 for a hot dog and $57.50 for parking. And remember, that's not even for good seats.

The Redskins beat out No. 2 on the list, the San Francisco 49ers at their brand new Levi's Stadium. That experience will set you back $270.67. The Dallas Cowboys at AT&T Stadium are third at $268.28.

Compare that to the cheapest NFL experience on the list: a Cincinnati Bengals game at Paul Brown Stadium, which came in at $131.93 -- less than half the price to attend a Redskins game.
The NFL season kicks off Sept. 8 with a Super Bowl rematch between the Denver Broncos and Carolina Panthers. The Redskins open their season Monday night, Sept. 12, at home against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
