Washington Redskins Vs New England Patriots: How To Watch

The Redskins will visit Gillette Stadium on Thursday for a preseason matchup with the defending AFC champs.

The Baltimore Ravens and Chicago Bears officially kicked off the 2018 NFL preseason with the Hall of Fame Game last Thursday. But it won't be until this coming Thursday that the Washington Redskins get their first taste of the action. Here's how to watch.

WHAT: Washington Redskins vs. New England Patriots

WHERE: Gillette Stadium, Foxborough, Mass.

WHEN: Thursday, Aug. 9 at 7:30 p.m.

The Redskins' first home game will be against the New York Jets at 8 p.m. the following Thursday, Aug. 16. Then they host the Denver Broncos on Aug. 24 at 7:30 p.m., and close out the preseason in Baltimore against the Ravens at 7:30 p.m. on Aug. 30. All preseason games will be broadcast on NBC Sports Washington, except for the Jets game, which will be shown on ESPN.

The Redskins' first regular season game is Sept. 9, Sunday afternoon at 4:25 p.m. on the road against the Arizona Cardinals. Their home opener is Sept. 16 at 1 p.m. against the Indianapolis Colts.
