It's been four years since Bao Bao the panda came into this world at the National Zoo, and now he's headed to China.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Try to keep a stiff upper lip, Washingtonians: Bao Bao will be leaving us in just a few days time, and the National Zoo has just posted a video of all the panda's "aww" moments since his birth in D.C. in 2013.
Bao Bao is departing for China on Feb. 21, and if you want to see him before he leaves, you can stop by the zoo for a series of celebratory events titled "Bye Bye, Bao Bao" starting Thursday and running through Monday, Feb. 20.
As an appetizer for that event, the zoo just posted the video below of Bao Bao's most adorable moments since his widely publicized birth four years ago.

Bao Bao is part of a cooperative breeding program with the China Wildlife Conservation Association. All panda cubs born at the zoo depart to China by the age of 4, and they participate in China's breeding program when they reach sexual maturity at 5 or 6 years old.
Bao Bao will be flown to China on a FedEx plane. A keeper and veterinarian from the National Zoo will accompany her to keep her calm.
