Watch Panda Bei Bei Flop Around In Snow At DC Zoo (Video)
Bao Bao is leaving the National Zoo this month, but her brother Bei Bei will entertain D.C. with his antics for a couple more years.

WASHINGTON, DC — Need a little pick-me-up after hearing that panda Bao Bao is leaving us and headed back to China? How about this video of her brother, Bei Bei, playing in the snow at the National Zoo recently?
In the video below, Bei Bei explores a large tree limb covered in freshly fallen snow before slipping and sliding down the icy surface and clumsily flopping onto the ground.
"We hope your weekend is as much fun as this video of Bei Bei sliding in the snow," the National Zoo wrote on its Facebook page.

Unfortunately, like Bao Bao, Bei Bei will eventually leave the zoo, although it will be another couple years. Bei Bie is part of a "panda diplomacy" program between China and the United States, and the terms of that program require all panda cubs to be sent back to China at the age of 4.
Bei Bei was born to mother Mei Xiang and father Tian Tian on Aug. 22, 2015, so D.C. residents and visitors still have a couple more years to enjoy him. The zoo is holding several farewell events for Bao Bao until her departure on Feb. 21.
