Water Pours Into Metro Station In DC (Video)
The Capitol South Metro station resembled a water park after the Tuesday afternoon rain storm.
WASHINGTON, DC -- A huge volume of water poured into the Capitol South Metro station on the Orange/Silver/Blue lines in D.C. on Tuesday following the deluge of rain from an afternoon storm. Video of the scene is embedded below.
The videos posted to Twitter show a cascade of water falling from the ceiling onto the platform below.
Metro said a few minutes after it was posted at around 4 p.m. that plant maintenance was aware of the issue and was working to resolve it.
