Wawa Opening Store In Georgetown: Report
The convenience store chain reportedly has a permit for a store on Wisconsin Avenue.

GEORGETOWN, DC -- Good news, Wawa fans: a new store will be opening right here in Georgetown on Wisconsin Avenue, according to a report.
The Washington Business Journal reports that Wawa has received a permit to build a store on Wisconsin Avenue near Prospect Street where Restoration Hardware used to be.
It would be D.C.'s second Wawa, after the first opened in downtown last December.

The chain has big plans for the District, expecting to open five to 10 stores in D.C. over the next few years. The chain has hundreds of stores in Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey, Virginia, Maryland, Florida, and now D.C.
