White House Briefly on Lockdown Due to Security Breach: Reports

Yet another fence jumper may have resulted in the lockdown of the White House, reports indicate.

A lockdown at the White House has reportedly been lifted after yet another individual apparently tried to scale the fence late Tuesday afternoon -- and the person may be injured.

Fox News correspondent Chad Pergram tweeted that the White House was locked down "due to fence jumper at the Eisenhower Office Building next to the White House."

Washington Blade reporter Chris Johnson tweeted that the Secret Service had requested a stretcher because the jumper "is in a moat or ditch."

The White House has been plagued by a rash of fence-jumping in recent years to the point that former Secret Service Director Julia Pierson resigned in 2014. The White House has also been looking at redesigning the fence to prevent further incidents, which show no sign of slowing down.
