White Supremacists Invade DC Neighborhood
White supremacist Richard Spencer and his cronies were in the city recently, and many suspect they may be behind the flyers.
WASHINGTON, DC — White supremacists posted racist flyers around a D.C. neighborhood, outraging the community at a time when locals have been victimized by other displays of racial intimidation.
The flyers were discovered over the weekend at around the same time that white supremacists gathered at the Lincoln Memorial for the "Rally for Free Speech," which included comments from their leader, avowed racist Richard Spencer.
One version of the flyer in Bloomingdale showed a white woman and child with the caption "defending your people is a social duty, not an anti-social crime," along with a link to a racist website.

D.C. Councilman Kenyan McDuffie issued a statement after the flyers were discovered in his ward, stating that residents would "not be intimidated by cowards."
