Woman Dies From Injuries From March Shooting In Southeast: Police
Police say a 42-year-old woman died from injuries from a shooting that happened back in March in Southeast DC.

WASHINGTON, DC — Police say a woman died due to her injuries from a shooting that happened in March in Southeast DC.
Yashika Green, 42, died Saturday from complications from a gunshot wound, according to The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner. Police ruled the manner of death as a homicide.
At about 12:30 a.m. March 1, police were dispatched to the 200 block of Wayne Pl., SE., for the report of a shooting. Members located Green inside a residence suffering from a gunshot wound, police said.

MPD offers a reward of up to $25,000 for information that leads to an arrest and conviction of a person responsible for a homicide. Those with information are asked to call police at 202-727-9099.
