ST. JOHNS COUNTY, FL — In what they called "a buck-wild call for service," deputies responded to help remove a large buck stuck in the bathroom of a St. Johns County home on Aug. 23, the agency said in a social media post.

The sheriff's office called it "a true deer-in-the-headlights moment."
The agency didn't share how the buck got into the home.
The video shows deputies and those who live at the home moving furniture to make it easier for the buck to get out of the house.
"He's just kind of stuck. He's in froze mode," a deputy said in the video.
Eventually, the buck left the bathroom and ran outside, taking a dip in the pool twice, before running through the back fence and into the woods.
"First time I've had a deer in the house in my 23 years of my profession," a deputy said in the video.
The sheriff's office said, "Using only their wits and a pool brush, deputies helped the buck safely escape back into the woods. The buck fled before deputies could issue a warning for trespassing."
