• Manatee Belle joins the Gulf Islands Ferry fleet (amisun.com) — Ferry riders to and from Anna Maria Island now have a larger, climate-controlled option as Manatee County’s new 91-seat Manatee Belle begins regular service between downtown Bradenton and Bradenton Beach. While trips to the Anna Maria City Pier remain suspended until hurricane damage repairs finish later this year, officials plan a new Gulf Islands Ferry landing there once the pier fully reopens.
