• Officers shoot, kill man who gunned down 20-year-old mother at work (miramarflnews.com) — A deadly domestic violence shooting outside the Spectrum building off U.S. 92 in Auburndale left a 20-year-old mother and the suspected gunman dead after officers opened fire when he pointed a gun at them. Investigators say the couple shared a young child and are still piecing together what led to the attack, while all involved Auburndale officers and Polk deputies are on leave during the review.
