Miami Dade College's (MDC) Wolfson Campus will host its annual I AM MDC celebration, bringing together students, alumni and community members to celebrate the College's 66th anniversary and its impact. The event will feature remarks from MDC President Madeline Pumariega, City of Miami Mayor Eileen Higgins and MDC Foundation Board Chair Jorge Plasencia.
Wolfson Campus SGA President Kyulhee Kim will also share remarks before students, faculty and supporters come together to sing "Happy Birthday" to MDC and participate in a celebratory crowd photo. A DJ and campus activities will continue throughout the College's activity hour.
I AM MDC Celebrations raise funds to support scholarships, academic programs and student success initiatives, helping create opportunities for current and future MDC students. The Wolfson Campus celebration will also highlight the role of alumni and philanthropy in creating opportunities for the next generation of students.
