Miami Dade College's (MDC) Medical Campus will bring some friendly competition to its I AM MDC celebration as students, faculty and staff compete in a classic field day featuring an egg-and-spoon race, three-legged race and wheelbarrow race, culminating in a tug-of-war championship.
Students and faculty representing the Medical Campus's healthcare programs will compete in teams. The event will also feature lawn games, music, food and a special birthday cake celebration marking MDC's 66th anniversary.
The field day is part of the I AM MDC Celebrations, Miami Dade College's annual event highlighting 66 years of changing lives through education. The initiative raises funds to support scholarships, academic programs and student success initiatives, helping create opportunities for current and future MDC students.
Field Day Competition Start: 11:45 a.m.
Birthday Cake Celebration: 12:30 p.m.
Event will be held at the Medical Campus Atrium and end at 1 p.m.
