• Florida AG backs Bal Harbour Shops in Live Local fight (therealdeal.com) — State Attorney General James Uthmeier is backing Bal Harbour Shops in its lawsuit against the village, arguing state housing law lets the project bypass local zoning in exchange for workforce apartments. The dispute centers on three proposed 275-foot towers with 600 units and a hotel, and a special village council meeting on April 27 will consider a possible settlement closely watched across Florida.
