• Palm Tran could face major cuts from property tax loss ahead of tax vote in November (wflx.com) — Palm Tran is considering cutting early and late Route 40 service between Belle Glade and West Palm Beach, which could hit long-distance “super commuters” and paratransit riders especially hard. Facing a possible property tax rollback on November’s ballot, county leaders are weighing $15 million in service and operating cuts, fare hikes, and even rideshare vouchers while demanding clearer ridership data.
