South Shore Young Professionals Association - Morning Multitasking: Professional Development over Coffee

The speaker is James Pulkowski, CPA, who will present "Tax Preparation for the Small Business".

Pulkowski has been in public accounting for his entire career, since 1992.  He holds a Bachelor’s Degree and a Master’s Degree in Accounting from Florida State University.  He was employed by three regional accounting firms prior to going out on his own nearly 5 years ago.  James specializes in small business and personal taxes.  He has an extensive background in Florida Sales and Use Tax Rules and he provides accounting, tax, and payroll compliance and planning services.

SSYPA launched in May 2011 to serve young professionals living and working in the South Shore area.  The Association meets twice monthly and offers professional development talks by community business owners and leaders.  SSYPA meets at local venues and supports various non-profit organizations throughout the year.  The organization recently held the first annual South Shore Run Series 5K and Fun Run at E.G. Simmons Park in Ruskin.  SSYPA is chaired by Jodi Egger and the Social Chair position is held by Lisa Kennedy, the 2012 Honorary Mayor of Riverview.  The Association is affiliated with the Greater Riverview Chamber of Commerce.  To learn more about SSYPA, please visit the website or call.
