Where to Celebrate New Year's Eve in Bloomingdale-Riverview

Wondering what to do for New Year's Eve? Bloomingdale-Riverview Patch has put together a list of local celebrations.

• Ring in the New Year at , 16132 Churchview Dr., Lithia, with George Shea and the District performing from 8 p.m. to midnight. Streamers and horns will be provided. There will be regular dinner service throughout the day starting at 11 a.m.

• The 6264 Winthrop Town Centre Ave., Riverview, will host a masquerade party on New Year's Eve with free masks given to the first 200 customers. There will be entertainment throughout the evening and a complimentary champagne toast at midnight. In addition, between 9 and 11 a.m., patrons will receive all they can eat and drink for $20.

• 3345 Lithia-Pinecrest Rd., Valrico, is hosting a party with a disc jockey spinning tunes from 6 a.m. to 2 a.m., a champagne toast and party favors at midnight and dinner specials. There is no cover charge.

• Get fired up at Racoon's Bar & Grill, 3240 Lithia-Pinecrest Rd., Valrico, where the band Fired Up will perform all night long on New Year's Eve. For $10 per person, patrons will receive a free appetizer, a champagne toast at midnight and party favors.
• For a New Year's Eve night of karaoke fun, check out the Beer Shed at 11222 Casa Loma Dr., Riverview, on the Alafia River. There will be karaoke all evening along with a champagne toast and party favors at midnight.

• Salute Sports Grill, 11238 Boyette Rd., Riverview, will host a New Year's Eve Bash featuring a disc jockey spinning tunes all night, complimentary champagne at midnight and a prime rib buffet for $14.99.

• If you're looking for family fun, check out The Alley at Southshore, 10221 Big Bend Rd., Riverview, where patrons can enjoy a choice of bowling packages for New Year's Eve. From 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., a $30 package covers a lane for six people to bowl, shoe rental, pizza and a pitcher of soda. From 7 to 9 p.m., the same package is available for $40. For those who want to ring in the New Year at The Alley, there's a $60 package from 9:30 p.m. to 1 a.m. featuring 3 1/2 hours of bowling for six, shoe rental, hats and noisemakers and a champagne toast at midnight.
