Theresa Canfield of FishHawk Ranch opened the coffee stand five weeks ago, offering customers both hot and cold coffee drinks made with premium beans shipped from Washington state, the home of coffee stands.
A former Washington resident, Canfield moved to Florida four years ago and was surprised to find there aren't any coffee stands around.

"In Washington, you find coffee stands on every corner," she said.
She decided to correct the oversight by opening her own stand. She discovered the quaint faux log building for sale on Craigslist and began scouting for locations.
The heavily traveled Boyette Road seemed ideal for a coffee stand so she made arrangements to lease property from Journey Church on Cristina Drive and relocated her little building on the site.
"This is a true Northwest coffee stand," she said. "It's the only one around."
But don't let the size of the building fool you. There's nothing small about Mug Shots' selections. Canfield offers hot and ice coffee, blended frappes, granitas, mochas, cappuccino, lattes and expressos made with a variety of coffee beans including the White Zombie, a white espresso bean you won't find anywhere else in Florida.
The coffees can be flavored with a choice of 49 flavors from pumpkin spice to English toffee.
"I bought every flavor I could find," she said.
Canfield also offers smoothies blended with real ice cream in a range of flavors including the cotton candy and bubble gum as well as Italian sodas and a extensive selection of tea drinks.
"I try to accommodate my customers' requests," she said. "I can probably make any drink under the sun."
And, if you're looking for a quick bite on your way to work, Canfield has you covered. She sells lemon bars, muffins, bagels, danishes, cookies and granola bars.
She said her customers not only love the variety, they love the price. Many of her drinks are available for just $2. Her most expensive selection is $4.50.
"It's more than McDonald's but less than most coffee ships," she said.
