OVER A THOUSAND FREE FLU SHOTS IN TAMPA BAY

FLORIDA HOSPITAL CENTRA CARE BRINGS POPULAR & PROTECTIVE FLU FIGHTER EVENTS TO TAMPA BAY

Flu Season is here, and for the first time, Centra Care, Florida Hospital Urgent Care is offering Tampa Bay residents two Fast & Free flu shot clinics, giving away more than 1500 shots.

Over the past 10 years Centra Care, in partnership with Get Healthy Florida, has given away over 140,000 FAST AND FREE flu shots to Central Florida residents. Now that Centra Care has opened three locations in Tampa Bay, free flu shots are coming for Tampa residents too, including a large event on MLK at the Tampa Bay Bucs training facility.

Everyone 6-months and older can get a free flu shot at one of the two clinics. Centra Care physicians want to remind Tampa Bay residents that the single best protection against the flu is the flu shot, even for healthy children and adults. Since the flu virus changes every year, you need a new vaccination each year. And remember, you cannot get the flu from the flu shot.
